CRANIOSACRAL BIODYNAMICS

Craniosacral biodynamics was born in the early 20th century from osteopathy. However, there are also references to the fact that the craniosacral system and cerebrospinal fluid were already dealt with in ancient Egypt, India and Peru.

Its founder is Dr. William Garner Sutherland, who focused primarily on the central nervous system. During his research, he discovered that the skull bones are not fused, and that they move with a rhythmic movement called primary respiration. Every cell in our body follows this movement, which has its own rhythm and is independent of breathing and heartbeat.

The quality of the cerebrospinal fluid, which washes the central nervous system and takes care of its protection, cleaning and nourishment, is essential. Our brain and spinal cord also float in cerebrospinal fluid. This is where the name craniosacral comes from – cranium (skull) and sacrum (cross-bone).

This method works holistically – connecting the body, mind and spirit. In silence and calmness, the therapist tunes into his central line and thus gives space for starting self-healing processes in the client’s body. The innate treatment plan in the client’s body knows exactly what to do to bring the whole mechanism back into balance. Thus, the therapist does not work with the client’s illness, but on the contrary tries to make room for health, which can then manifest itself.

The therapist also focuses on inert or stagnant fulcrums, which are places in the form of a spiral or vortex that contain unprocessed experiences from the past. These places are encapsulated so as not to disturb the natural functioning of the organism and therefore a large amount of energy or biodynamic potency is kept in them. If the fulcrum dissolves, the client automatically regains this potency back.

So how does the therapy look like? A fully dressed client lies on his back on a massage table and the therapist tunes into his central line and grounds himself. The therapy begins with gentle palpation that starts at the ankles. After that, the therapist usually moves to another part of the body, chosen based on listening to the client’s body. It is a very gentle method that is suitable even for children, the elderly and pregnant women.

Cranisoacral biodynamics helps to eliminate stress, tension or pain. It harmonizes the nervous system, relieves chronic fatigue and insomnia and has a relaxing effect. It can help relieve back, joint and spine pain. It has a beneficial effect on headaches or migraines, hormonal disorders and problems of psychosomatic origin. It also strengthens the body’s immunity. The therapy is also suitable for treating trauma, post-traumatic conditions or addictions. It complements perfectly with the use of therapeutic tuning forks.

THERAPEUTIC TUNING FORKS

Everything is a vibration. Even every cell in the human body has its own vibration. Sometimes, however, the vibrations in the body get into dissonance, which a person feels as stress, anxiety, illness, pain, etc. In order for a person to tune and harmonize again, therapeutic tuning forks are used.

Therapeutic tuning forks are divided into acoustic and vibrational. Acoustic ones are intended for listening, and vibrating ones are applied directly to the body, where they cause vibration. They are mostly made of aluminum, brass or steel. However, there are also gold-plated or crystal ones.

If the frequency or vibration of the tuning fork comes into contact with a living organism, complex electrical and phonon interactions occur that affect tissues and all cells in the body. Just as a musical instrument is tuned, it is therefore possible to tune a living organism. This is a non-invasive way to restore the correct rhythm and bring the body back into balance.

Each tuning fork has a different frequency, which is indicated in Hz. Its vibrations can have a positive effect on various organs in the body, DNA, nerves, chakras or brain waves. When using therapeutic tuning forks, there is also an increased production of nitric oxide (NO) in the human body, which has a positive effect on the human organism. It affects the function of all body organs, relaxes and expands blood vessels and thus helps to regulate blood flow to every part of the body. There is also increased cell vitality, which is the basis of anti-aging.

Part of the therapy with tuning forks is also the so-called combing of the client’s biofield created by Eileen Day McKusick . Every person has a space around their body in which all their repressed traumas are stored. This is electromagnetic space, the so-called etheric body. It is possible to imagine it as tree rings or an aura. In this space, there are fragments of our soul called biophotons that we had to separate from ourselves during our entire life, because the situations we went through were too painful for us. With the help of a tuning fork, it is possible to return these biophotons to the body, which then manifests itself as greater lightness, improved mood, a surge of energy, an overall different outlook on life or the removal of pain.

How does the therapy look like? A fully dressed client lies down on a massage table. Then he listens to the sound of the acoustic tuning forks with his eyes closed and lets his thoughts flow. He concentrates only on his breath and the sound of the tuning forks. This way a client gets into a deep relaxation. After that, the client’s biofield is combed with acoustic and vibrational tuning forks, during which the client is invited by the therapist to continuously share what qualities he feels in the body at that given moment and how he feels overall.

Therapy with tuning forks helps to restore inner balance, quieten and calm the mind, increase energy, raise Consciousness to higher frequencies, release mental and physical tension, improve physical difficulties and grounding. Combing the biofield then leads to the correction of traumatic experiences from the past, experiencing feelings of happiness and lightness, removing blocked energy in the biofield and removing pain. Tuning forks can therefore be linked to craniosacral biodynamics where different frequencies are used at the beginning and then at the end of a therapy. Tuning forks can relax the client and prepare him for craniosacral biodynamic therapy. At the end, on the contrary, they gently bring him back to himself.

ABOUT ME

My name is Iveta Hankova. The decision to devote myself to the study of craniosacral biodynamics came to me during a stay in the dark room that took a week. At that time, I myself had been attending craniosacral biodynamics for the second year and I knew from my own experience about its positive and even miraculous effects on the human body.

So I signed up for a professional training at the Institute of Craniosacral Biodynamics with Abha Sajwel, who brought her knowledge all the way from India and Germany and has been passing it on in the Czech Republic for many years. After two years, I successfully completed the training and received a certificate.

During the study of craniosacral biodynamics, therapeutic tuning forks caught my attention and they perfectly complemented it. Tuning forks completely enchanted me and became an inseparable part of my life. Therefore, my collection is constantly expanding with new additions. I attended two seminars called The Power of Healing Sounds with Karla Tomiss Bartikova. Then I went through intensive Foundations Training of Biofield Tuning under the baton of Eileen Day McKusick, who developed a method of combing the human biofield with a tuning fork.
